M-Edge like to do things properly and they haven’t let us down with this excellent neoprene sleeve for the iPad. This is feature packed. There’s a double zipper with tabs to allow entry into the main compartment. Then they’ve got a large front pocket, also zippered, and a hide-away handle, also zippered. They like their zips! It comes in five bold colors and is lined with a grey polar fleece. It’s worth noting that the main compartment zip extends around the short edge far enough to allow access to the charging port. So you can charge the pad while it’s still in its case. The double zip means you can keep the case closed while you’re doing this too.
Blythe King doesn’t care if you like this. They are artists. Their latest creation is a cross between a Picasso painting and a 60′s ladies tweed coat! All I can say is I hope they got the woman out of it first! If you plan to carry this around, you need to be comfortable in making a statement. An individual statement at that, as they have an extensive range of variations on fabric and that big button that holds the main compartment flap down. There’s a shirt pocket to hold a pen or two and a pair of glasses. I think we owe it to Blythe King to support them for being so bold and out there. Seriously different.
Coming in five colors, this is a vibrant offering from Vizu. At the quality end of the market you need to do something to stand out from the crowd. Vizu have created this gel skin in such a color that it makes you want to eat it. It looks like some kind of yummy jelly. This has a nice shiny skin making it much more appealing than your usual silicon. And it also helps with abrasion wear. Vizu have thrown in a bonus screen protector and a bonus MiniSuit microfiber screen cleaner as well. So it’s a complete solution for your iPad, assuming you don’t eat it. Keep ‘em coming Vizu!
This is a carry case from Vizu made using a hard shell of EVA. This gives extremely good protection for the iPad. The case is dual zippered and it opens right up. Provision is made to prop the iPad up inside the case to allow hands-free viewing in landscape. There are Velcro straps to hold the iPad in while doing this. You have to fiddle a little bit to get your media connectors in around the straps, but its manageable. The case has colorful edging in either vibrant pink or blue. Overall a very functional case which offers hard-shell protection. Thanks Vizu.
This bag will suit the iPad owner who needs to pack a little more that just the iPad, but doesn’t want to carry two cases. This is of nylon construction and a double zipper opens the case right up to reveal an internal sleeve for the iPad with ample room for whatever else you want to carry. Like a second iPad. Or perhaps some notepads and a spare pair of socks. On the outside is a large, elasticized zippered pocket with a sleeve for a phone and a pen and business cards. The case has a pair of robust handles and a shoulder strap. But wait there’s more. On the outside of the exterior pocket is a further slim, zippered pocket. Then on the back of the case is a strap to allow you to slide this over the drag-handle on your airport luggage! Too much!
This is a faux-leather fully lined sleeve from Proporta. It’s an uncomplicated offering, as this is not pretending to be anything other than a simple, functional sleeve. They could have left it plain, but they’ve gone and put a stripe across one corner on one side only. Not sure why, I think its called style. I guess if it’s your bag, it’s your bag. Each to their own. It comes in a variety of colors so you can mix and match. Keep bringing it!
This is a vey smart offering from Vizu. They’ve put together an elegant leather folio case at an extremely good price. Using high quality leather for the exterior it offers the required protection from bumps and scratches. On the inside they’ve lined it with a soft velvet to protect the glass. The iPad sits in little leather straps and is quite secure. The design is simple and the logo minimal. They’ve used contrast stitching, but the stitching is very neat so it looks good. Overall a great leather case at a great price.
Marware have gone to a little extra trouble with the Sports Grip Pro. This is a silicon skin with a couple of features that sets it apart from the crown of other skins. They’ve put an extra layer of silicon where it’s needed, around the corners and across the back. The two layers are fixed together at the corners so you can slide your hand in between the two layers when using your iPad. Having the skin fitting around your hand like a glove gives a significant increase in security should you be bumped or knocked. This is a nice touch that you don’t get from most hard skins. To add a little bit of personalization, the inner layer of silicon comes in different colors to give a flash of individuality along the edges.
So you’ve got a board meeting in the afternoon and then hitting the town in the evening, what should your iPad wear? Need something to suit both situations? Well this neoprene sleeve from E-Volve may be your savior. This is reversible, with a sedate dark color on one side and a vibrant, bold color on the other. Problem solved. The sleeve itself is nice and thick and uses a flip top opening to allow quick access to the pad. The edges have been nicely trimmed along the flap and the overall presentation is neat and simple. A perfectly good sleeve from E-Volve.
Memory foam, where would we be without it. Here we have a product that uses memory foam on both sides of the iPad, so it contours to fit the pad perfectly and the iPad is held firmly inside the case. The outside of the case includes a sizeable double zippered pouch and the main compartment is also double zippered along three sides so the case opens completely up. The styling is simple and elegant and the logo discrete. As usual CaseCrown have provided a sophisticated solution to your iPad carrying needs.
